As of September 2008, usage data gives Opera's overall global share of the browser market as being about 1% although Opera's usage share is about 18-20% in Russia and Ukraine, and 5–6% in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic.Opera is famous among the Eastern European countries.

Yeah, seems like only East Europe is into opera, here in the west it seems Safari/Firefox/IE are top.

I wonder why though, why do some regions use AIM and others except America use MSN.

It is because not every people have the same mindset. Thats why the reason why some use Opera,IE and Firefox. There is nothing can be done to change their mindset.

Yeah the only reason I like AIM more than MSN is because all my friend have AIM and I love how AIM 5.9 is so simple and minimum which is how I like software, MSN is too much in terms of features ugh.
