Netscape earns money just like the other web browsers. They use rendering engines of search engines and they give out valued traffic to web sites.

I don't think netscape does well anymore compared to the other browsers, AOL keeps on running due to the fact it owns AIM and the advertisements on AIM earn them all of their money.

Yeah, that's pretty cool, so then firefox makes no money if you change your homepage to something else. :( lol

Technically speaking you are correct. However there will be millions of users who use Firefox services and their home pages. So it will be negligible loss if a a few thousand people change their home page.

============
Friendly Pig
============
A man was on a walking holiday in Ireland. He became thirsty so decided to ask at a home for something to drink. The lady of the house invited him in and served him a bowl of soup by the fire. There was a wee pig running around the kitchen, running up to the visitor and giving him a great deal of attention. The visitor commented that he had never seen a pig this friendly. The housewife replied: "Ah, he's not that friendly. That's his bowl you're using."
